National Electric Drag Racing Association

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The National Electric Drag Racing Assossiation is a North American-based racing league for competing battery electric vehicles (BEVs) against each other and against contemporary high performance or classic muscle cars. The association's stated goal is to "increase public awareness of electric vehicle (EV) performance and to encourage through competition, advances in electric vehicle technology. NEDRA achieves this by organizing and sanctioning safe, silent and exciting electric vehicle drag racing events."[1]
