National College is one of the most important educational institutions in Bangalore and has two branches namely Basavanagudi and Jayanagar.

The college offers courses at both pre-university and degree levels in Arts and Science subjects. Languages offered:English, Kannada, Sanskrit Science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology ( The college has plans of offering a course in Nanotechnology too!)

Prestigious alumni of the college include Prof C N R Rao, B V Jagadeesh, Anil Kumble, cine actor Vishnuvardhan, former Karnataka CM H D Kumaraswamy and International Olympiad in Informatics medallist R Shreevatsa. Adnan K Raja an alumni also represented India at IOI.
