The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (established 1982) is an American professional organization that administers tests to certify candidates in acupuncture and oriental medicine. The professional designation, NCCAOM Diplomate in acupuncture or oriental medicine is recognized by many state licensing agencies. [1][2][3]
