The National Broadcasting School (also known as the 'NBS') is a small educational institution in Brighton, England. The school is located on the campus of the University of Sussex. The National Broadcasting School is known and recognized for providing high-quality teaching in radio throughout the UK. The school is also known for being non-institutional in its attitude. Red FM (Red Radio) is the school's own radio station.
The National Broadcasting School offers two types of programs and certifications. One in Presentation and Production, and the other in Radio News. The Radio News course has earned the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) accreditation.
The School contains several instructors and mentors from various parts of the broadcasting and media industry. The Director of the school is Rory McLeod.
