Nati Meir

Nati Meir (born 23 May 1955) is a Romanian politician and businessman,Jewish by origin, lived in the past in Israel where practiced business. Currently a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies. He became a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies on the lists of the extreme right wing Greater Romania Party; he was independent from April 2005 till June 2007, when he entered Democratic Party. His political and business activities and choices were very disputed in Romania and Israel. Nati Meir was condemned to 30 months of jail in Israel for fraud (he presented himself as a lawyer) . The court declared Meir has chosen a lawbreaker path in life.[1].

In 2005 he claimed he inherited $ 2 billion from an American relative about whom he refused to give any details. $87.250.000 entered his account.[2]
