Nathuakhan is a village in the Ramgarh block of the Nainital district in the state of Uttarakhand. It is situated at a height of 1940 meters, in the heart of Kumaon Mountains of the central Himalayas, close to the towns of Mukteshwar and Nainital.
Nathuakhan lies in the heart of the fruit basket of the Kumaon. It is is a serene mountain retreat, perfect at any time of the year for a nice vacation. It is north–east facing and has a predominantly temperate eco system.
The village has been named after 'Nathua Khan', a prominent Muslim figure who lived along the main road of the village. It is also said to be the birthplace of several freedom fighters, which made this place an important centre of national struggle against the British.
The village is divided into 12 hamlets which are as follows: -Tallatanda - Navada -Mallatanda - Gaon -Kafaldhari - Kanala -Jhopro - Banola -Bunga -Bageecha -Lamakhan -Tapuk
