Nathan Smith (born February 10, 1982, in Strathcona, Alberta) is a professional Canadian ice hockey centre with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization. He was drafted 23rd overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. Before playing professional, Smith played four seasons with the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League. He debuted professionally in 2002 with the Manitoba Moose.

On April 27, 2008, Smith was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after he was observed streaking in Scranton. He claimed he was acting on a bet.[1]
