[edit] Iconic Teacher

  • Gary Case - Teacher that worked at Nathan Hale High School for more than 40 years. He is very well known and admired by the Hale students. Gary Case has made a huge impact over the whole school whether is by teaching PE or just greeting the students and teachers at the doors of the school. Gary Case has been such an icon to the school history that he threw out the first pitch before the Mariners-Angels game.

  • Football - Nathan Hale football had a stagnant performance in the early 2000's. In fall of 2004, the Raiders were one of the worst schools in the Metro League, Sound Division. Bun in fall 2005, the school team went through a huge change, and with coach Hopkins, the team finally begun to improve, thus becoming one of the best teams in the division by 2006 and 2007.
