The Naters Brass Quintet (NBQ) was founded 1990 to play in a small group original Brass literature and modern entertainment music. The NBQ has numerous important appearances behind itself and can look back on a successful competition activity. In 1992 the NBQ won the Swiss vice-champion title at the Swiss ensemble and soloist competition (SSEW) in Interlaken. Here it also played at the Gala concert. The NBQ co-operated with well-known musicians such as Anselmo Loretan, Eduard Zurwerra and Peter Werlen.
