Nate the Great and the Stolen Base is a novel that was written by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat. The illustrations were by Marc Simont. This is a book about how Oliver lost his purple plastic octopus. This book was made in 1994. It is a book based on the Nate the great books. Nate said in this book that he was sometimes a baseball player. The stolen base was an octopus.
