Nate Bishop

Nate Bishop is the Anchor of KRHD-LP ABC 40 in Bryan - College Station, Texas.[1]
A Graduate of Lyndon State College in Vermont, Bishop began anchoring the 10 p.m. Nightbeat show after the departure of TV's Mark Kurtz.[2]

Bishop began his television career at KXXV-TV/DT in Waco, Texas as a producer where he worked for six months before moving to KRHD. His duties as producer included producing the 5:00 p.m. show Monday, Tuesday and Friday, along with both shows each day on Saturday and Sunday.
His audition for the Desk took place in December of 2007 when he Anchored KXXV's Midday show.

Loren Korn joined the ABC 40 team in November of 2007, shortly before Bishop's move from KXXV to KRHD. During Bishop's tenure two reporters left the station, namely Allen Bruggman who went on to work for the City of Bryan and Alex Belser who was reassigned. [3]

Recent rumors have surfaced in DMA 95 that Bishop might return to KXXV as Executive Producer, Nicole Pytel is expected to make the move from sports to the Anchor Desk.[4]
