Natasha Katz

Natasha Katz is a well known lighting designer in the theatre industry, having designed over 50 productions on Broadway since 1985. She was educated at Oberlin College (Class of 1981) and did an internship with Roger Morgan. [1] She is married to Daniel Schreier, a sound designer and musical composer. She has two children, Gemma and Milo Schreier. Katz is currently working as the Lighting Designer for the Disney musical The Little Mermaid.
Katz worked in the Broadway lighting industry for nearly 10 years before receiving her first Tony Award nomination, for Beauty and the Beast in 1994. Other nominations and awards include: [2]

Katz has also designed the lighting at Niketown in New York City [3] and London, and for The Big Bang at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Additional work includes lighting design for several productions of the American Ballet Theatre, and work for various opera companies. [4]
