Natalie Walker

Natalie Walker is an American musician from Indiana.[1] Walker was formerly vocalist of the trip hop group Daughter Darling, but has since produced a solo album, Urban Angel, under Dorado Records.

Growing up in a born again Christian family,[1] Walker spent her childhood in Indiana. She is the former singer of downtempo electronic group Daughter Darling. Her musical influences include Alison Krauss, Jewel and Beth Orton.[1]

Urban Angel, her solo album debut, was co-written by Walker with producers Dan Chen and Nate Greenberg. Walker has said that she wanted each song to be unforgettable.[1]

Walker's first album as a solo singer has been the acclaimed Urban Angel. A Billboard copy-editor said of the album, "A hypnotic undercurrent lingers beneath her music's drowsy sensuality."[2] Songs from the album include "No One Else", "Quicksand", and "Circles". "Circles" featured in a fourth season episode of Grey's Anatomy.[1][3]
