Natalia Felicia Anastasia Romanov is a character in the Derek Benz's and J.S. Lewis's Grey Griffins book series. Natilia is also a member of the Order of the Grey Griffins, lead by Max Sumner consisting of Max and Natalia, Ernie Tweeny, and Harley Eisenstein.Max and the other characters of the series have been said to be stereotypical.[1][2][3]Natalia is a detective, throguht the books of the series, Natilia is constantly writing down clues in her Book of Clues.[4][5][6]

[edit] Natalia's Part in The Revenge of the Shadow King

In The Revenge of the Shadow King Natilia is introduced as a old fashioned and formal young detective.[7][8][9]Natilia along with the other Griffins play a magical trading card game called Round Table[10]. During a particular game, Max plays the Shadow King card and accidentally releasing the King into the world.[11]That same day, Max's grandfather is killed and he finds a magical book called the Codex. Olaf Iverson, their mentor of the game of Round Table[12] teaches them of the dangers that await them. They learn that because Max has played the Oberon card, that his gate has appeared on Earth and if the Griffins did not destroy it in time, Oberon would kill all human kind with his armies of faries.[13]Facing the black witch: Morgan la Fey, and the followers of Oberon Natilia is taking more notes than ever trying to solve the mysteries of the black witch and Oberon. Then Iver is kidnapped, using her detective skills, Natalia finds and saves Iver. Together the Griffins save the world by defeating Morgan la Fey and the minions Oberon.[14]

[edit] Natalia's Part in The Rise of the Black Wolf

In The Rise of the Black Wolf, The Griffins travel to Lord Sumner's castle in Scotland for Christmas.[15] While at Lord Sumners castle, Natilia meets a new friend named Athena who is a Templar Knight and a T.H.O.R. secret agent.[16] But while enjoying the luxury of the castle[17], the castle is attacked by a ancient society of wolfs named The Society of the Black Wolfs.[18] In the attack a message is left saying that Lord Sumner would be taken hostage[19] until The Spear of Ragnarök is in the black witches hands. Fool-hardidly, the Griffins gather the three pieces of the spear and bring it to the black witch in hopes of freeing Lord Sumner. But the Griffins discover that Lord Sumner was behind the entire scheme waiting for the Griffins to find the pieces of the spear and then steals it at the last moment and puts Ernie into a magical coma.[20]

[edit] Natalia's Part in The Fall of the Templar

In The Fall of the Templar discovers that Lord Sumners is heading to the World Tree to stab the tree, gain unlimited power and kill the dragon that protects it. Natalia, the Griffins, Brooke, and the T.H.O.R. agency journey into the Underworld in search for the eye of Odin while Iver and the Temlar Grand Council are bombed and the Templar outpost are destroyed around the world[21]. When Grayson finds the Eye, he confronts his father but is to late as Lord Sumner gains ultimate power. Lord Sumner begins battle with the Great Dragon save the world and kill his father, or help his father and kill the dragon. With the impossible discission Grayson kills the dragon with the spear and Lord Sumners escapes with ultimate power and Athena escapes with the spear.[22]
