Natalia Druyts (born on December 3, 1980 in Westerlo, Belgium), best known by her stage name Natalia, was the first runner-up of the first season of Idool 2003, the Belgian version of Pop Idol, in which she "lost" to Peter Everard who got 50.7% of the votes. But now she's the only one of every singer out of a contest who has a real career.
She has graduated as translator English-Spanish. Her idols are Madonna , George Michael, Anastacia and Pink.
In January 2006 she performed ten concerts with The Pointer Sisters in Sportpaleis, Antwerp. More than 130,000 people enjoyed the "Natalia Meets The Pointer Sisters" show.
In October 2005 Natalia released a single together with The Pointer Sisters, Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves. The song reached number 2 in the Belgium charts. Natalia will retake the "Natalia Meets" concept and perform together with En Vogue & Shaggy on the stage of the Sportpalies in Antwerp(Belgium) in January 2008. (Natalia meets En Vogue feat. Shaggy) Currently 6 dates are on sale.

In February 2004 Natalia took stage for the prefinals of the eurosong contest in Belgium. With her song "Higher Than The Sun" she hit the finals as red hot favorite, but Xandee ended up representing Belgium at the eurovision songcontest with the song (1 Life). The "Higher Than The Sun" song reached number 2 in Belgium charts.
[edit] Dancing With The Stars
The Belgian television company "VTM" asked Natalia to join "Dancing With The Stars" in January 2006 (in Dutch: Sterren Op De Dansvloer). Although she was very busy (Me & my Producer, during November and December & Natalia meets The Pointer Sisters, during January) she said yes. Together with her professional dancer, she reached the finale but ended up second.(again)

Natalia Backstage is a 4-week docu show on the Belgian TV company VTM. It will tell the story of Natalia recording her new 3rd album, starting up a new tour, doing photoshoots, etc

With Heart & Soul (in Dutch: Met Hart & Soul) is a book of Natalia's youth, her life before and after Idols 2003, her experiences in the showbizz, her meetings with worldwide celebrities,... The book will be released on October 8th.

- "This Time-on tour" began on 13 January 2004 and was her first live concert (with live band). She sang all her numbers of the album This Time and some covers such as "River Deep, Mountain High" by Tina Turner.
- Her second tour, Back For More live, started on 5 November 2004. The show existed of her own songs and some covers, such as an Elvis medley, Tina Turner medley and "Hanky Panky" by Madonna. The show is recorded on DVD.
- Her third tour, Me & my Producer, started on 1 November 2005. As the title suggested, her producer appeared on stage as well. In this show, there were less musicians and more backing vocals.
- In January 2006 Natalia gave 10 sold-out shows in Belgiums largest concert hall, Sportpaleis in Antwerp. More than 130,000 people enjoyed the show. Right after each show, they were able to buy a live CD of the concert they had just seen. (10 different CD's) The CD wasn't available in stores. Set list:
