The NATO bombing of Albanian refugees near Korisa occurred on May 14, 1999 when NATO planes struck two convoys of ethnic Albanians trying to flee Kosovo, killing as many as 100 people[citation needed]. The attack occurred near Koriša, a town near the southern city of Prizren. [1]
