NATO Headquarter Tirana

In March 1999, NATO established a Logistics Support Command in Albania to sustain KFOR operation in Kosovo. Since January 2006, the NATO Headquarter Tirana is not any more operational but performs advisory role on Defence Reform and Security Sector Reform/SSR aspects, aiming to a near future Albanian Armed Forces membership in NATO[1].
