This template is to be placed on all former NASCAR drivers that raced in the premier series (Nextel Cup, Winston Cup, Grand National, and Strictly Stock.). The template has been designed to transition from {{NASCAR current driver}} with little modification. If brand new, use the following syntax (Taken from Alan Kulwicki).

Add: Remove:
  • Last_Race
  • Years_In_Cup
  • Total_Cup_Races
  • Car_Team
  • Previous_Year
  • Prev_Cup_Pos
  • Updated_On

In the case of a driver retiring, change name of template, and perform the tabled tasks:

Important notes: all dates must be wiki links, else the Wiki will not realise that they are dates. If there are more than one awards listed, they must be seperated by a double break (as shown), else the Wiki again, will not recognize it. (HTML is NOT preferable, as it messes with the Wiki.)
