Nasira was part of the launching team of Geo and was soon elevated to the position of business editor.
When Recorder Television Network planned to launch Aaj Tv; she was the one who was chosen to lead this venture. She served there as Controller News and Current Affairs and within a couple of year, enabled the infant channel to stand beside top news channels. Especially the exclusive coverage of the Balochistan situation and October 8th Earthquake won international acclaim. It was an intricate job to handle all these affairs but Nasira Zuberi came out successfully through it all and established her name in the industry.
Other Media moguls were also eyeing in the new field of electronic media which was also getting a great chunk of advertisement. Ad guru Taher A. Khan was also one of them. He shared his dream of his own news channel with Nasira and decided to embark on yet another venture. And within a short span of one year, Nasira made this dream a reality.
Today she is heading the team of News One that has caught the viewers’ attention right from its launching. Only God knows where she will head from here, but the twinkling in her eyes suggest that the poetess in her has still got some dreams that are unfulfilled, or may be even unheard-of.
