Nash-Hooper House, also known as William Hooper House is a site significant for its association with Francis Nash and William Hooper. Nash, who was an "American Revolutionary War hero and general who was killed at the Battle of Germantown in 1777, had built the house in 1772. William Hooper, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, purchased the home in 1782 and lived there until his death in 1790.[3]

It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1971.[1][3]
