NASCAR Heat 2002

NASCAR Heat 2002 is a NASCAR video game produced by Infogrames for the Xbox and Playstation 2. It came out on June 18, 2001 for PS2 and November 14, 2001 on the Xbox. NASCAR Heat 2002 is the successor to NASCAR Heat, and the predecessor to NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona. NASCAR Heat 2002 can have 24 racers(PS2) and 43(XB Including fictional cars) on track, and 19 official NASCAR tracks.

- Bill Elliott and Casey Atwood are not in the game for some reason.
- Kurt Busch's sponsor Rubbermaid/Sharpie is not in the game for unknown reasons.
- Robby Gordon drives the #4 car, but he only drove the car for five races.
- There is a cheat code for the game that allows you to shoot snowballs and tires at your opponents. This code doesn't work on some versions.
- Kevin Harvick never ran in the Cup series in 2000. He was put in to replace Dale Earnhardt, who died prior to the game's release. He is, however, one of the cars you have to pass at Texas during a Beat the Heat challenge (passing).
