i know of several instances on wikipedia where scanned images are used as references, and have never been challenged by other editors. i'm not saying you are wrong, but i would like you to point me to (link me to) the documentation which says that such practise is invalid. 142.68.83.23 (talk) 02:15, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
