I was conceived during a Parisian Museum bathroom encounter between my folk-singer father and a Sardinian mistress who was known worldwide for her almost supernatural skill at carving red potatoes. They raised me comfortably for five years in a Sicilian compound owned by fruit salad smugglers until my father was excommunicated from The Church of Dylan in 1991. Unable to support the family and pay for the psychotherapy needed to aid my phobias of hymnals, predatory cats, and wind chimes, I was shipped to the United States to be adopted by a retired Buddhist monk and his quadriplegic telepath wife, where I have lived out my years as a D# spark in a lunar jazz night.
