Talk:Narathiwat Province
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Thai Tourist Authority lists "Cho-airong" as a sub-district, while the census data from the ministery of interiour lists it as normal district. Thus I did not list it as "king amphoe", but may stand corrected later. andy 18:11 7 Jun 2003 (UTC)
[edit] Pattani or Narathiwat?
"Historically Pattani was the centre of the semi-independent Malay Pattani kingdom..."
Did you mean that Narathiwat was the center?
Michael
- Don't know who changed it or why, but to my knowledge the capital of Pattani kingdom was at modern day Pattani, Narathiwat was only one part of it, and later one of the seven provinces into which Pattani was split. andy 19:06, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Someone created another article about this, see Talk:Narathiwat Province/Duplicate to see if there's any material that can be used. —Random832 18:42, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
