Narasingha Sil

Narasingha Prosad Sil (1937–) is a Bengali-American historian. He the only Western scholar to have written full-length scholarly works on Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, and Sarada Devi. His work is considered controversial by the religious followers and the organizations that have been built up around Ramakrishna and Vivekananda. He is a Professor of History at Western Oregon University, Monmouth, Oregon.
