Talk:Napster Bad!

[edit] "Weird Al" stealing concepts?

"Weird Al" Yankovich just released a song (2006) called "Don't Download This Song" which, like "Sue All the World", is a "We Are the World" parody about illegally downloading music. I think this should be made mentioned of in this and/or the "Don't Download This Song" article.

[edit] Should not be merged

It's a different storyline to Napster Bad! I think five episodes and a game should merit its own article! However Teat-mutt should me merged here! --Gausie 20:48, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I found it useful

I saw that this entry is being considered for rapid deletion because it's not "notable." I didn't create this page, but I did find it when I was trying to get more information on the "Napster Bad" series of Flash animation. (I was told about "Napster Bad" by a friend.) I'm not sure how Wikipedia sets its policies, but this entry is useful and informative, and deleting such entries seems like a pretty bad idea. If I only wanted articles about things that are already widely covered elsewhere, I wouldn't need Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is an enclyopedia, its not a place to store information about everything. --Simonkoldyk 22:12, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
May I question what exactly you would define an encyclopedia as then? According to Wikipedia itself An encyclopedia, encyclopaedia or (traditionally) encyclopædia,[1] is a comprehensive written compendium that contains information on all branches of knowledge or a particular branch of knowledge.
So then is an encyclopedia's purpose not 'to store information about everything'?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.42.53.55 (talk • contribs)
Everything notable, yes. --Simonkoldyk 23:11, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
