Napoleon (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Napoleon is a first name that some say derives from Neapolis (Naples) and would have originally meant "from Naples". Others claim it is of Greek origin (Napoleon) and comes from napè or napos meaning "(forest) valley" and leon meaning "lion" which would mean that Napoleon means "lion of the valley" or similar.[1] Several things to do with France are called Napoleon.
