The Naples Daily News, owned by Ohio-based Edward W. Scripps Company is the main daily newspaper of Naples, Florida, and all Collier county. Its main competitor in this region is the Fort Myers-based News-Press, out of neighboring Lee county to the north.
For many years, it has targeted Collier County. However, its coverage has been expanded to all Lee County and parts of Charlotte County.
The paper publishes several edition of its "Local & State" section for communities including Immokalee, Marco Island, East Naples, North Naples, Bonita Springs, Lehigh Acres, South Fort Myers, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, and Cape Coral. The Naples Daily News also publishes through its website, which is www.naplesnews.com
