Museo Archeologico Nazionale (Naples), Italia - Mosaico trovato a Pompeii: rappresenta la ruota della fortuna che, come gira, può far diventare il ricco (simboleggiato dalla stoffa purpurea a sinistra) povero, ed il povero (simboleggiato dalla pelle di capra a destra) ricco; ma tutto è molto precario, la morte è in agguato in ogni momento, e la vita è sospesa ad un filo: quando il filo si spezza, l'anima (simboleggiata dalla farfalla) volerà via.
