Naoetsu Station (直江津駅, Naoetsu-eki?) is a train station of JR East and JR West located in Joetsu, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
It is located on the JR Shinetsu Main Line, Hokuhoku Line and JR Hokuriku Main Line.

- August 15, 1886 - Naoetsu Station was opened.
- 1898 - It was moved to the present location.
- April 1, 1987 - With Japanese National Railways Division Privatization, JR East followed JNR into Shinetsu Main Line and JR West did so into Hokuriku Main Line. The station business are also succeeded to by JR East.
- April 7, 2000 - The present station building was completed.
- December 1, 2005 - It was introduced an automatic ticket gate.
