Talk:Nambé

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Urban legend and/or rumor has it that the formula for the alloy used in nambe was part of a weapons development. Specifically that the metal was created for the casings of nuclear warheads. Since it does come from Los Alamos, this lends some weight to that urban legend/rumor. Can someone substantiate this? 24.127.115.100 23:00, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] pronunciation

I'm only guessing as to which vowel the "/nam/" was supposed to be, and the stress is different from the pueblo. Was this sloppy transcription, or are they really pronounced differently? kwami (talk) 00:42, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
