[edit] Naming

I am attempting to establish a consistent standard of naming kabuki actors by their yagō in traditional order. As it is a stage name, I think we can swing it as an exception to the normal rule that modern-day personalities must be listed in Western order. This will also help greatly in maintaining a consistent appearance through the names of Shichinosuke's father, grandfather, and earlier generations who are all listed under traditional order.

I leave this note here because I recognize that Shichinosuke is most well-known in the English-speaking world for his role in The Last Samurai, and so I explain myself. If you would like to see him moved back to Western order, please consider what I've written, and at least notify me of the change. Please. Thank you. LordAmeth 08:53, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
