The Naked Women's Wrestling League also known as NWWL began as a promotion in 2004. The NWWL is a pro-wrestling show where the matches feature naked females battling in the ring. Aside from the naked wrestling, another attraction to the show was the hostess- Hollywood star Carmen Electra. The show made its debut in 2004 with the release of the pay-per-view show-Vegas Stripped. The show returned to pay-per-view in 2006 with the Naked Revolution show. This time out, Carmen Electra hosted the show, while other celebrities to appear on the program included pro-wrestling legendary manager Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart as well as adult entertainment star Mary Carey.

Since the show began, the NWWL wrestlers have been featured in Penthouse, Playboy and Maxim magazines as well as on CBS News and countless radio show interviews.

In 2007, Carmen Electra announced a lawsuit against the NWWL for, among other things, breach of contract and failure to pay money that she claims still due. to her. In response, NWWL owner Howard Mann made it public that she had been paid all money due to her and that her claims were without merit.

In late 2007, the NWWL launched a new website- NWWL.com, where their nude wrestling matches are available for download.

As of April 2008, the league appears to be alive and well, producing new content and touring live shows in the US.^[1]
