Nakdimon Shabbethay Doniach OBE (May 8, 1907 London, England – April 16, 1994 Oxford, England) was a lexicographer and scholar of Judaic and Semitic languages. In World War II he served in the Royal Air Force as a member of the famous intelligence unit at Bletchley Park, rising to the rank of Squadron Leader.
He was the editor of the 1972 Oxford English-Arabic Dictionary and the 1982 Concise Oxford English Dictionary of Current Usage.
