Nakagusuku Bay

Nakagusuku Bay (中城湾 Nakagusuku-wan?) is a bay off the southern coast of Okinawa Island in Japan, at 26°13′N 127°52′E / 26.217, 127.867Coordinates: 26°13′N 127°52′E / 26.217, 127.867.

American soldiers nicknamed the bay Buckner Bay, after General Simon Bolivar Buckner, Jr.
