Nate was born at a young age in Portland, Oregon which he considers a strange place. It was a dark and cold night and it was raining because it always rains in Portland. Over the years growing up in Portland, Nate built many talents--Some these talents include playing the guitar, website designing, speaking, and being cool.

Nate Hanson competed and is now an alumni of the NCFCA and the club, Rainmakers in Portland, Oregon. Rainmakers is the coolest club to ever speak in the NCFCA. Nate's achievements in the NCFCA are highlighted by taking 3rd place in the nation in duo interpretation at the 2005 National Tournament (Point Loma Nazarene University - San Diego, California.)
