Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology (NIMIT) is an affiliated College under the University of Calicut, and is recognized by Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies, Govt. of Kerala. NIMIT was named the “Best Hotel Management Institute” of Kerala in 2004. Ours is the first college in Kerala to offer a university degree in Hotel Management from the University of Calicut. NIMIT was granted the ISO 9001-2000 certification for exemplary standards in education and student training. This is a project of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. His Eminence Mar Varkey Cardinal Vithayathil is the Patron.Naipunnya Group of Educational Institutions is a project of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam - Angamaly. Naipunnya was launched back in 1998 under the visionary leadership of Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kalapurackal. Today Naipunnya has spread it's wings with several institutes in different parts of Kerala. Naipunnya College - Pongam.
This is a self finance college affiliated to the University of Calicut. It offers various degree and diploma courses in Hotel Management, Computer Science and Commerce.
Naipunnya School of Management - Cherthala
This is also a self finance college affiliated to Kerala University. It offers various degree and diploma courses in Hotel Management, Computer Science and Commerce.
Naipunnya Public School - Edakkunnu
Another project on Naipunnya is Naipunnya Public School affiliated to CBSE Delhi.
