Nainar is an Indian word which can refer to the following:
- a title given to Tamil Jains living in Tamil Nadu
- a family surname in Tamil Nadu. The family's ancestors originated in Palani in Kerala, year unknown
- a sub-caste of the Parkavakulam community (udyar) in the Indian caste system
- Sankara Nainar, an image of Perumal in Sankaran Koil, to which it gave its name
- a surname of Malayali Muslims (also Ninnar)
- a surname of Hindus belonging to Balija Naidu caste in Andhra Pradesh.
