Naimon

Duke Naimon, also called Aymon, Namo, and Namus, is a character in Old French chansons de geste. The son of Doon de Mayence, he is the Duke of Dordogne and the father of four sons, Renaud (Rinaldo), Guiscard, Alard, and Richard, who were part of the tale Les Quatre Fils Aymon or The Four Sons of Aymon. In the Song of Roland, he is Charlemagne's wisest and most trusted advisor.
