Naildown is a Finnish melodic death metal band, originally founded in 2003 under the name Acid Universe.
After two demos (under the name Acid Universe), their first album World Domination was released in 2005. Their latest album, Dreamcrusher, was released on March 14, 2007. An e-single for "Judgement Ride" was released on February 14.
As of 23 November 2007, keyboardist Jarmo Puikkonen is no longer with the band. The band has announced they are fully able to function without keyboards while on tour, and they will wait until they find just the right person for the job before officially replacing Puikkonen. The band has made it clear that their music in the future will include keyboards, and if they do not find a new keyboardist by their next recording session, they will be able to handle the keyboard work themselves.
