Naich (tribe)

The Naich ( Urdu : نا ئچ , Hindi : नाइच ) is a tribe settled throughout the Sindh, NWFP and Punjab provinces of Pakistan. They are a sub-caste of the Jatt tribe and in most areas people of this tribe are known as Jatt Naich. In Sindh they are part of the feudal system and are mostly settled in the Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu, and Ghotki districts of Sindh - where they are known as Jagirdars (feudals). In Sindh they speak Sindhi language.In NWFP this tribe settled in District Abbottabad. In Punjab, their main occupation is Agriculture. And they are mostly settled in Bahawalpur, Sadiqabad, Kabirwala, Rahimyar Khan, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Bhakkar and Khushab districts of Punjab.In Punjab mother-langage of this tribe is Saraiki.
