[edit] Thank you for your welcome, but I can't eat the cookies
Thanks for the welcome, but because I am a dog (albeit a very smart one), I cannot eat chocolate cookies. Chocolate is fatal to dogs. Thank you, nonetheless, for the thought. Woof! Siberian Husky (talk) 18:53, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Invitation to join discussion
Nahid, I have started a collaboration discussion on WikiProject Bangladeshi Universities talk page to start a collaboration among the Wikipedians who are working for this project. I think it is high time to start knowing each other and work like a group. Could you please have a look at my post and put your opinions. Cheers! -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 14:30, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
- No problem! Just take your time. This time I am very serious to organize this project and I think some enthusiastic editors have joined us recently who will surely keep this flag up. Since you are the most significant editor on Bangladeshi universities, I strongly prefer comments and guidelines from you for different articles. Moreover, I have seen the mild edit-war on AIUB article. I think through this collaboration we can also overcome those situations. I am eagerly waiting for your return. Cheers! -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 20:33, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Request for your review
I nominated List of universities in Bangladesh on 25 March 2008 as a Featured List candidate. So far, four editors reviewed the list and requested significant changes and modifications. I tried my level best to meet all the recommendations. It would be really nice if you also review the list and place your opinion (support/oppose). I am looking forward to receive your comments and recommendations on the nomination page. Cheers! -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 10:43, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Nahid, it has been many days since we talked either on WP or on gmail/google talk. Could you please be honest about one thing? Did I hurt you by any of my activity? Please be frank. I just got a feeling that either you may be busy or got hurt by me. I always consider you as friend and brother not as a Wikipedian. Cheers. -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 11:00, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:ALMU-logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:ALMU-logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:28, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] My RfA
Hi NAHID; I wanted to say thank you for supporting my request for adminship, which passed with 100 supports, 0 opposes and 1 neutral. I wanted to get round everybody individually, even though it's considered by some to be spam (which... I suppose it is! but anyway. :)). It means a lot to me that the community has placed its trust in my ability to use the extra buttons, and I only hope I can live up to its expectations. If you need anything, or notice something that bothers you, don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks again, PeterSymonds | talk 22:04, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] unconstructive edits/vandalism
The changes I made were not vandalism. I removed incorrect information regarding the "#2 position on the 'Bubbling Under chart of Britney Spears' "Break the Ice," because it was clearly false information. The single is at #43 on the main Hot 100 chart, a fact the wikipedia page actually says, making the suggestion that it peaked at #2 on the Bubbling Under chart a clear mistake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.135.58.53 (talk) 15:04, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject India
Hi, and welcome to the India WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of India.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Please participate in any of our descendant workgroups that might interest you.
- The project has a bimonthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered in its entirety, but several other formats are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every India article in Wikipedia.
- Can you code? The automation department uses automated and semi-automated methods to perform batch tasks that would be tedious to do manually.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! -- TinuCherian (Wanna Talk?) - 16:43, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
