Nahid Kulenović

Ing. Nahid Kulenović (died July 1969), the son of Dr. Džafer-Beg Kulenović, was a Croatian-Bosniak member of the Croatian Liberation Movement. He was also a well- know Croatian newspaper columnist and activist. He was married to Marrijana Dezelic, the daughter of the well-known Croatian activist, Berislav Đuro Dezelić.

Nahid was assassinated by the Yugoslav Secret Police, UDBA, in Munich in July, 1969.

His son, Džafer, currently serves as the Vice of the North American Congress of Bosniaks (the largest Bosniak organization in North America), as the President of the Islamic Cultural Center in Northbrook, IL, USA, and as a member of the Governing Board of Democratic Action Party (SDA) in Sarajevo.
