- It appears, from a Google search, that this drum is cylindrical like the Arabic tabl baladi or Turkish davul. Thus, its name is related to the Arabic kettledrums, but isn't the same kind of drum. Badagnani (talk) 19:40, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
