Nafis Sadik

Dr. Nafis Sadik, currently Special Adviser to the UN Secretary General with additional responsibilities as Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Asia, and former head of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Sadik is an alumna of Dow Medical College. Dr. Nafis Sadik is daughter of Muhammad Shoaib, former Finance Minister of Pakistan. In 2002, she received the World Citizenship Award from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
