Nadezhda Teffi

Nadezhda Teffi known simply as Teffi (Russian: Надежда Тэффи) (1872-1952) was a Russian humorist writer. Teffi is the pseudonym. Her real name was Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Lokhvitskaya (Надежда Александровна Лохвицкая).
Her birthday in various sources varies in the range 1871-1876. The most recent findings say that she was born in May 1872.
She had to leave Russia after the October Revolution, and died after the decades of immigration in Paris, France. She is burried Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery in France.
