From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nader al-Masri (1980- ) (Arabic: نادر المصري) is a Palestinian Olympic athlete from Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip. He plans on participating in the 5,000 meter at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. He is the only person from the Gaza Strip and one of the only four Palestinians that will be participating in the Olympics in 2008. For several months, Israel refused his request to leave the Gaza Strip, but Israeli officials are now working on his permit.[1][2]
