Nadathara is a census town in Thrissur district in the Indian state of Kerala.

As of 2001 India census[1], Nadathara had a population of 12,593. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Nadathara has an average literacy rate of 84%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 86%, and female literacy is 82%. In Nadathara, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age. Nadathara is just 5 kilometres from Thrissur city. The major locations at Nadathara include- The Nadathara Farmers Co-0perative Bank, Msgr. John Palocaren Memorial Hall, Joseph Kundukulam Memorial Hall. Both Christians and Hindus dominte this place. Muslims are a minority. Nadathara is well connected by road. National Highway passes through this place. Some of the places within Nadathara are JP Nagar, Elanjikulam, Minor Road & Palocaren Avenue. Sacred Heart Church is one of the major attraction of this place. It is also a gateway to other places like Valkkavu, Poochatti and Moorkkanikkara.
