Nad Ali District

Nad Ali is a district in the west of Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Its population is approximately 80% Pashtun, 10% Hazara, 5% Tajik and 5% Baluch; the population was 100,500 in 2005. Much of the west of the district is unoccupied desert, with the vast bulk of people living in the east, near the Helmand provincial capital of Lashkargah. The district centre is the bazaar of Nad Ali.
