Talk:Nachman Shlomo Greenspan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have heard, but cannot verify, that when the Chofetz Chaim was writing his classic work of Halacha, Mishnah Berurah, he first sent his manuscripts and writings to Rabbi Greenspan for review and approval. If true, this says a lot about what type of calibre of man we're dealing with here, i.e. someone very very distinguished, very great, and a huge Talmid Chacham. Even if not accurate, the story is apocryphal in that Rabbi Greenspan was certainly and undeniably exceedingly great. Lostvelt 13:31, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
